European School on Plasmonics and Phase Change Materials
The European School on Plasmonics and Phase Change Materials aims to gather together students and scientists at the early stage of their career interested in fundamentals of light-phase change materials interaction phenomena and to discuss ongoing developments and future directions of the field in an open multidisciplinary atmosphere.
With lectures from renowned scientists in those fields, the School will provide an in-depth view of current hot-topics in plasmonics and phase-change materials, with emphasis on methods and techniques, as well as case studies on communications, optical computing and neuromorphic networks.
In addition, the School aims to boost these research fields and to promote the cooperation between participants.
In order to increase attendants’ interactions and active participation, a hands-on session is organized to work in groups on case studies and discuss the participants’ work with lecturers.
The school is organized and supported by the European FET-OPEN project PHEMTRONICS.
Participating at the school is free of charge for META participants.
Participants must register in advance to participate, but there is no registration fee.
