           Abstract- Silicon nanocrystals are good candidates for realizing optoelectronic devices on silicon substrates. Such devices are interesting as their growth could be compatible with the CMOS technology. However, their quantum efficiency and absorption cross-section are not high enough to give optoelectronics components with high performances. The use of localized surface plasmon-polaritons coupled to these nanocrystals could be a way to improve their efficiency.
