Fano resonance in Multilayered nanodice

Abstract
A computational study of the plasmonic properties of a three dimensional multilayered nanodice has been investigated. Symmetry breaking has been initiated by offsetting the inner core
with respect to the shell due to which a coupling between plasmon modes of different multipolar order results in additional Fano resonances. This metallodielectric nanostructure with reduced
symmetry also reveals considerably high local-field enhancement.
