Abstract
in this paper,we propose a new shape of resonators at the microwave frequency regime. the structure not only exhibit a magnetic subwave length resonance band gap, but also the band gap due to the electric resonance. the effect of the changes in the dielectric permittivity and the thickness of the substrate on the band gap of this strucure are numerically investigated using the finite elements method in order to tune the transmission spectra.
