META 2020, the 11th International Conference on Metamaterials, Photonic Crystals and Plasmonics

University of Warsaw, Warsaw, Poland

July 20, 2020 – July 23, 2020

META2020 postponed to a later date

META has been monitoring the developing Coronavirus outbreak closely. The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority. After studying and evaluating the announcements, guidance, and news released by the Polish authorities, we are sorry to announce that META2020, scheduled to be held in Warsaw, from 20 to 23 July will be postponed to a later date.

We have considered many options for preserving the hard work and effort on the part of the participants, session conveners and organizers. There is still considerable uncertainty of how the situation will evolve, and significant details that still need to be worked out for what is possible going forward. META 2020 is postponed with a goal of rescheduling later in 2020.

We will announce the new Conference dates and location as soon as we are able. We encourage all who were involved with special sessions, tutorials, workshops, the Plenary, Keynote and speakers who accepted our invitation to continue as part of the event.

Abstract submission deadline postponed

Welcome to META 2020!

Be a part of META 2020, the world’s leading conference on nanophotonics and metamaterials, and take the opportunity to present your recent results, and meet and network with world renowned experts. The program will facilitate discussions on various current hot topics such as metasurfaces & metadevices, topological effects in optics, two-dimensional materials, light-matter interaction in nanocavities, plasmonic circuits, thermal engineering, quantum photonic systems, etc. Featuring several plenary, keynote and invited speakers, the program will provide insights into the latest trends and strategies actionable to deal with the practical challenges faced by the community.
