META has traditionally allowed one paid registration to cover up to two papers for which the registrant is a co-author. The corresponding META 2027 author-registration policy will be confirmed when registration opens.
META is open to researchers, students, professionals and others interested in the scientific programme. It is not necessary to present a paper in order to attend.
META operates as a community conference, and participants — including invited speakers and session organisers — have traditionally been required to register.

META 2027 will be held at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre, Ontario, Canada, from 13–16 July 2027.
Entry requirements depend on nationality and individual circumstances. Participants are responsible for checking the current requirements applicable to them with the relevant Canadian authorities.
