All accepted papers (lectures and posters) at META 2018 will be published in the conference Proceedings (extended version, if submitted before the deadline, or abstract). The Proceedings will have an ISBN number.

Full-length paper preparation

All authors with accepted papers (lectures and posters) at META 2018 are invited to submit an extended version of their paper for the conference proceedings. Submitting a full paper is not mandatory but is highly recommended.

All presented papers at META 2018 will have the opportunity for consideration for one of the Special Journal Issues associated with this meeting (the details are provded below).

The full papers should be written in English, and should be prepared with the following conference templates

Paper Preparation

  • Do Not Include any additional headers, footers.
  • Do Not Use Symbols, Special Characters, or Math in Paper Title .
  • Please note that no additional content editing will be performed after submission has been completed.

Paper Format

  • For authors who choose to use Microsoft Word, a template can be downloaded here.

  • For preparing the paper using LaTEX, a template can be downloaded here.

  • It is best to start writing your paper by entering the text into the template, to make sure that all formatting is correct.
  • The information on page layout and formatting can be found in the templates.

All presented papers at META 2018 will have opportunities for consideration for one of the Special Journal Issues associated with this meeting:



Nanophotonics (De Gruyter) 

Nanophotonics covers recent international research results, specific developments in the field and novel applications. It publishes all article in a Gold Open Access model and belongs to the top journals in the field. Nanophotonics focuses on the interaction of photons with nano-structures, such as carbon nano-tubes, nano metal particles, nano crystals, semiconductor nano dots, photonic crystals, tissue and DNA.

Optical Materials Express (OSA)  

The rapid-publication, open-access electronic journal Optical Materials Express (OMEx) is planning a special issue in association with METAConference. Authors are encourgaged to submit their original articles covering topics ranging from "optical materials, device fabrication and experimental approaches for metamaterials and nanophotnics" to this special issue.

All papers will be handled and reviewed according to the journal's quality standards. Please note that submissions to this special issue incur the normal OMEx publication fee.

Applied Physics A (Springer)  

Acceptance for publication in the journal is subject to peer review and the journal still reserves the right to refuse the publication of any paper that does not meet the journal's standards of acceptability. The number of pages is limited to 6 pages for regular papers, 12 pages for invited papers and up to 20+ pages for keynote papers.

Representative topics: experimental and theoretical investigations in applied research and materials science.

Advanced Electromagnetics (aemjournal.org)

All manuscripts will be subject to the usual selection process including the peer review procedure. The acceptance for presentation at the conference will not be a guarantee that the paper will also be included in the special issue.
