With 1100 accepted papers, 955 participants (from 50 countries) and 154 technical sessions at the 2016 edition, META is the major conference in the field of nanophotonics and metamaterials. I need an invitation letter to apply for a visa. Whom should I contact?
You first need to register as a participant and/or have an accepted abstract in META17. Then email the organizing committee at contact@metaconferences.org with subject “META17: Visa Invitation Letter”.
I am an invited speaker, should I submit an abstract?
Yes. All presenting participants should submit their abstract online at http://metaconferences.org/ocs/index.php/META17/index/pages/view/abstracts.

Yes. All participants are required to pay the registration fees.

Is there any financial support available for travel and local expenses?
No. However, in order to help out financially participants for attending META'17, a reduced conference registration fee may be offered to both students and scientists. The number of grants is limited, priority is given to participants working in less wealthy countries and lower middle income countries. What kind of equipment will be provided in each meeting room?
Each meeting room will have one screen, one data projector, and one laptop computer with Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Reader. You should prepare your presentation in PowerPoint or PDF and carry your file on a flash drive. Please report to your session chair 10 minutes before your session starts so you can upload your file to the provided computer in the meeting room.
Can I participate in several special sessions?
Yes, with restrictions. A registration covers at most two talks. A participant may not present more than one Invited Lecture at the Conference (an exception can be made for Plenary and Keynote speakers).
Do I need to present a talk in order to attend the conference?
No. The conference is open to anyone interested in attending. Registration fees still apply.
